Vane Test Apparatus - electrical |
|
Vane shear test are the most widely used method for measuring the undrained shear strength and sensitivity of cohesive soils.
Geotech Electrical field vane apparatus is provided in two version, with a vane protection and protection tubes (in accordance with the Eurocode) or without protections. Both versions come with an electrical instrument for applying and recording the torque and a slip coupling.
With Geotechs acquisition software you have a presentation part for viewing and interpretation of the shear strength and also possibility to calculate the rod friction.
