The hydraulic rod clamps and chuck from Geotech can be mounted on all rigs from Geotech, but can be adapted to most available geotechnical rigs.
The hydraulic chuck allows a quicker, more ordered and safer handling of rods during sounding operations. It is mounted either on top or below the drilling yoke. The hydraulic rod clamps are mounted on the foot of the drilling mast and substitute the holding up tool, wrenches, ball cone clamp and rod guide. The efficiency and speed of un- and on-screwing the rods is significantly increased. The rod clamps are available in three designs. Open -type 3 and type 4, that are of open type and Tubex type 3.
